“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Designated as a federal holiday in 1983 MLK Jr. Day honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through service. It is the only federal holiday recognized as a national service day and empowers citizens to get involved with their communities and challenges us to work toward Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community.
Lend a hand as we work toward this vision at Pinnacles National Park with a service project in the park on Jan. 18. Meet at the East Entrance Visitor Center at 9 a.m. We will discuss the project and deployment plan from there. Be prepared to work roughly 3-5 hours outside with sturdy shoes, a water bottle, and a great attitude. All tools and necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be provided by the park as well as water.
Groups over 15 please register. Children under 18 need a parental release form signed. Â
