Pinnacles seeks local youth for paid weekend positions

Pinnacles National Park is seeking local youth interns of ages 18 - 35 for a paid position on weekends/holidays this Spring!

Love working outside? Want to get experience working at a National Park?

Join the Ranger Corps at Pinnacles National Park this Spring! We are seeking enthusiastic local youth, ages 18 – 35, to help Pinnacles during its busiest season on the weekends and holidays for up to 8 hours/day for 12 weeks from March to June. During the position, interns will have the opportunity to work alongside National Park Rangers in many departments and experience the various roles required to operate a National Park while learning about the local geology, cultural history, flora, and fauna.

Positions are hosted by American Conservation Experience (http://www.usaconservation.org/) and interns will receive a weekly living allowance of $144 (equivalent to $9/hour). No housing will be provided for interns, so local youth are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity! To be hired, interns must also be able to pass a background check.
