On Thursday, April 21, the Hollister Police Department received reports of alleged threats against students at San Benito High School, which led to an investigation and arrest of a 16-year-old student from the high school.
In a press release, the HPD said, "This appears to be an isolated case and it does not involve any other students. The Hollister Police Department has been working with the high school to ensure the safety of all the students. Despite the arrest, Hollister police will have extra patrol around the high school tomorrow (Friday, April 22)."
Police said no further information will be released at this time, as the investigation is still ongoing.
