Hollister Police have released a wanted poster as they continue to seek murder suspect Jose Antonio Barajas, 20, of Hollister, for the shooting of Ariana Zendejas, 19. To see the wanted poster, click here.
They have also posted a missing person notice about 20-year-old Vaness Flores-Ibarra, who was last seen with Barajas on the evening of Aug. 1.
Flores-Ibarra is described as 5’2″, 130 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, with a light complexion. She was last seen in the area of Tres Pinos after being picked up, along with suspect Barajas, by an unknown female driving a small to mid-sized grey or silver SUV, possibly a Kia. Flores-Ibarra’s mother told the media on Tuesday that she believes her daughter was kidnapped by Barajas, whom the daughter had dated.
Suspect Barajas should be considered armed and dangerous and it is assumed he is possibly holding Flores-Ibarra against her will. If she is seen please call 911 and report it to your local law enforcement agency. To see the missing person’s message, click here.
