Hollister Police are seeking help identifying a male suspect who robbed a convenience store at knifepoint. An alleged accomplice was arrested, according to a police press release.
On Nov. 11 around 2 a.m., two males entered the Arco gas station at 301 Gateway Drive. Both approached the counter and one of the suspects produced a large knife and demanded money. The store clerk handed over all of the money in the cash register, the press release said.
An investigation including K-9 deployment was conducted, but police say the suspects were not located that evening.
While investigating another matter, officers were able to identify one of the suspects as Joshua Sandoval, 19, of Hollister. Sandoval was arrested and booked on a charge of armed robbery.
The second male suspect remains unidentified. According to the press release, the suspect was described as a male adult about 180 pounds with a thin mustache. He was said to be wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket. He is seen in the provided photo wearing a 49ers beanie cap.
