This posted notice is provided as a courtesy regarding the proposed solid waste collection rate adjustments for Recology service.
Following the distribution of the prior Proposition 218 notice, it was determined that the proposed rate adjustment should be re-noticed. As a result, updated Proposition 218 notices will be mailed to the affected solid waste service addresses and/or other recipients identified for notice under the Proposition 218 process.
The public hearings on the proposed rates are now scheduled as follows:
City of Hollister

County of San Benito
August 11, 2026
9:30 A.M.
County of San Benito Administration Building, 481 Fourth Street, Hollister.
City of San Juan Bautista
August 18, 2026
6:00 P.M.
City of San Juan Bautista Council Chambers, 311 Second Street, San Juan Bautista.
Updated Proposition 218 notices will be mailed to recipients identified for notice as part of the Proposition 218 process. Updated notices will also be available here:
