As the former Fire Chief for the City of Hollister, I’ve spent my career working with people who understand that leadership isn’t about a title; it’s about showing up and getting the job done. That’s why I’m proud to support Francisco Diaz for County Clerk-Recorder.

I’ve worked with Francisco for years, and he has earned my respect through consistent, hands-on work. In local government, you see a person’s true character in the unglamorous moments. I’ve watched Francisco do the heavy lifting that keeps our elections running; from transporting voting equipment himself to making sure every polling site is ready for voters.

In my line of work, you see how people respond when things go wrong. After the September 2023 fire destroyed the elections facility and forced a relocation of operations, I watched Francisco help drive a complete recovery in time for a critical election and the continuity of operations. He stayed focused, brought people together, and got the job done under pressure. That’s the kind of leadership our community depends on, especially when it matters most.

He’s just as comfortable doing the work as he is explaining it to the public. Through my work with a local election security advisory group, I’ve also seen how seriously he takes protecting our ballots. He understands that public trust depends on transparency, accuracy, and security. A value added characteristic for a growing community.

Francisco leads by example and has built a proven record of accountability. I encourage you to support him in continuing to serve our community.

Sincerely,
Bob Martin Del Campo
