Meetings held by agencies that provide services to the public are generally open to members of the public. These include local governmental bodies, school districts and water districts. The meetings, which are meant to provide transparency in the decisions made by local leaders that impact our community, can occur weekly, twice a month, or quarterly. 

Public agencies are required to publish agendas 72 hours prior to a regular meeting and 24 hours prior to a special meeting.

The following meetings are scheduled for the week of April 21.

April 21San Benito Health Care District Finance Committee at 4:30 p.m. Full agenda is here.
April 21Hollister City Council at 6:30 p.m. Full agenda is here.
April 22San Benito County Board of Supervisors at 9 a.m. Among the items that are scheduled to be discussed are the fire protection service, inmate medical service contract and road project updates. Full agenda is here.
April 22San Juan Bautista City Council at 5 p.m. The only agenda item is about the city manager in closed session. Full agenda is here.
April 22Aromas Water District at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Full agenda is here.
