San Benito County is expected to experience a growth spurt in coming years. Some studies project the population to be more than 150,000 by the year 2050. If you care about the quality of life in Hollister and the surrounding areas, have your say on how officials plan for traffic, development and air quality.

The Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments conducted a series of Sustainable Communities Workshops throughout the month of May to receive community input on how the region should develop through 2035. For those of you who were unable to attend our workshops, they would greatly appreciate your input via the MetroQuest survey, found at www.MovingForwardMB.org. They will be sure to take your ideas into consideration as they move forward in this process, and they encourage you to forward this information to friends, family, coworkers, etc., to ensure that their voices are heard as well. The MetroQuest survey will be available until June 30, 2013.
