UC Cooperative Extension and USDA Risk Management Agency will host a “Surviving in Agriculture” workshop this Thursday,May 2 from 8:30-3:00 at the UC Cooperative Extension office at 1432 Freedom Boulevard in Watsonville. This workshop will help farmers evaluate and control risks in berry, row crop and other agricultural enterprises. The workshop will cover partial budgets, Enterprise Risk Analyzer, tolerance to risk and breakeven analysis. The presenters are Farm Advisors and Agricultural Economists from the University of California, University of Wymoning and Colorado State University.
