With the 82nd annual San Benito County Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo taking place this week, the Saddle Horse Show Association sponsored annual, free events a weekend ahead of the main event, with the Memorial Ranch Rodeo held Saturday, June 20 at the Bolado Park Fairgrounds and the Figure-8 Roping Eliminations and Jack Pot Roping on Sunday.

The association held its annual barbecue after Sunday's events, where BenitoLink photographer Lisa Robinson-Ward captured shots of the action. 

The memorial roping event was dedicated to competitors "that we lost too soon," according to the association.
