Preschoolers at Sacred Heart School put on a performance for their mothers during an early Mother’s Day celebration on May 10.
“It was very cute, said mother Kat Nobile. Nobile’s son Emmitt, 4, met her at the door and took her to her seat.
“He picked out my seat and took my order for snack and tea time. It was cute to see them involved in that way.”
Mothers dined on a brunch of muffins and berries, and drank either ice tea or sparkling cider. The preschool class sang while the mothers ate, at times using sign language they had learned for the performance.
“The community at Sacred Heart is close knit and it was nice to have time to hang out with the other moms and chat,” Nobile said. “It was a good time.”
