San Benito Arts Council announces 2019 grant awards

Over $6,000 distributed to local artists and cultural organizations through mini-grant program.

The San Benito Arts Council is pleased to announce a new cohort of grantees from its 2019 Arts Express! Grant Program, which provides support to local artists, art groups, and art and cultural organizations through quick and easy mini-grants up to $1,000. This year’s grantees include:

  • Vicki Rashkin

Schools

  • RO Hardin School
  • Anzar High School

The goal of the Arts Express! Grant Program is to support cultural and artistic growth, foster arts accessibility and equity, and promote cultural diversity in San Benito County. Applicants are encouraged to request funding for the creation of new work; exhibitions and presenting; arts in education programs; community outreach and organizational capacity. Funded projects will take place in 2019. For a full list of grant funded projects, please visit www.sanbenitoarts.org
