With the help of a state grant aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, San Benito County Express is excited to offer the community free, select Fixed Route and Intercounty service days! As a thank you to our regular riders and a way to encourage new passengers to give public transit a try, all rides on the Fixed Route Red, Green and Blue Lines will be free the weeks of:

• August 19
• August 26
• September 2
• October 7
• November 4
• December 2
• January 6, 2020
• February 3, 2020
• March 2, 2020
• April 6, 2020
• May 4, 2020
• June 1, 2020

Understanding many residents commute out of San Benito County for work and school, the community is also invited to ride the County Express Intercounty services free for the months of December 2019, January 2020, and June 2020. If enough passengers ride on the free service days, County Express will be eligible to apply for the same grant in the upcoming year to offer the free rides once again.

Free service reminders will be posted on the buses, at the bus shelters, on the website www.SanBenitoCountyExpress.org, and on San Benito County Express Facebook and Twitter accounts throughout the year. For scheduling questions, please call (831) 636-4161 or visit the website.
