On May 5, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation hosted a day of giving to benefit nonprofit organizations in our region, an event aimed at inspiring and uniting our local community to support philanthropic causes.
Thanks to the generosity of 475 local donors, SV Gives was able to raise more than $55,000 for 29 participating San Benito County nonprofit organizations. Along with an anonymous endowment match of $50,000, nonprofits that took part in this annual event understand how the spirit of philanthropy truly makes a difference in San Benito County.
