On May 6th, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation hosted the first-ever day of giving to benefit nonprofit organizations in our region, an event aimed at inspiring and uniting our local community to support philanthropic causes.
Thanks to the generosity of 403 local donors, SV Gives was able to raise $77,402.00 for twenty-seven participating San Benito County nonprofit organizations.
“SV Gives was a wonderful way to bring the community together in the spirit of philanthropy to make a difference in San Benito County,” noted Stephanie Hicks, Director of Development and Outreach at the Community Foundation for San Benito County.
