Has one of your friends or family members experienced cancer? Then join us in the fight against this terrible disease by participating in the 20th annual San Benito County Relay For Life fundraiser on Aug. 2-3 at the Rancho San Justo Middle School athletic fields!

The event begins with the opening ceremonies on Aug. 2 at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the Survivor Lap and Survivor Reception. We will be walking all night raising funds and cancer awareness until the closing ceremony on Aug. 3 at 2 p.m.

There are many ways for you and your family to participate this year. There is still time to form a Relay Team; you can purchase and decorate a lighted luminaria bag in honor of or in memory of someone who has fought cancer; or you can attend the event and participate in the raffle.

Last year alone, we were able to raise over $100,000 for the American Cancer Society, and in the 19 previous years the San Benito County Relay for Life has raised over $2.6 million dollars – quite a feat for our little community!

If you have questions about how to donate or participate in our 20th anniversary Relay For Life, please contact Logistics Chair Chuck Obeso-Bradley (831-524-1331, [email protected]), or our American Cancer Society representative Jessica Ruiz (831-722-6527, [email protected]
