Chamberlain’s Youth Services needs your help to make a lasting impact for kids like Jessica.
With the help of caring staff, former Chamberlain’s resident Jessica gained valuable life skills like self-confidence, giving her a path to healing from past traumas and the ability to discover love and trust.
“When I came to Chamberlain’s abused, hurt, confused, angry, rejected by my mother and family and placed in and out of foster care wondering when this roller-coaster would end….I fell into Cottage Supervisor Lupe’s arms,” Jessica said. “That day I walked in as an orphan with so much fear that I would have to leave again. For the first time I finally felt like I was home.”
Jessica now lives in Texas with her husband and children, and runs a successful nonprofit organization.
Help us continue success stories such as Jessica’s. This year’s donations to Chamberlain’s Youth Services during San Benito GIVES will be dedicated to completing much needed makeovers of the three cottage’s nine bedrooms. That includes new paint, curtains, individual dressers and reading lights. CYS’s goal is $6,000, which can be matched with donations on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Please join us on this day of giving by donating to Chamberlain’s Youth Services during San Benito GIVES.
