When a person donates to United Way of San Benito County, they are investing in a centralized philanthropy that delivers real long-term change by leading a united effort. The UWSBC is thankful every day for the generous support from our community. This year, the United Way has supported 15 local nonprofits that provide important services to our residents. Working together, these programs and services make a difference for all local residents.

There are a lot of options to choose from when making a charitable gift, but when you choose the United Way, your dollars have the greatest impact, and here’s why. The UWSBC:

  • Focuses on the community. When you give here, it stays here. UWSBC is local, the community supported agencies are local and the outcomes benefit the local community. Last year, more than 32,000 meals were provided through UWSBC-funded agencies. More than 11,000 kids and 6,000 families received assistance because of the UWSBC.
  • Tackles current and long-term needs. We help today, so people can thrive tomorrow.
  • Is an advocate for change. Our community succeeds when we work together.
  • Addresses community needs by bringing the right partners together to generate the greatest outcomes.

Giving to the UWSBC is a powerful way to give back to our community, because together, we create more impact than any one agency could accomplish alone in achieving a healthier, stronger community. And we all know that a strong community is a good place to call home.

One hundred percent of every dollar is invested into local programs and initiatives due to the generosity of the David & Lucille Packard Foundation, which provides UWSBC a grant for operations. This generous grant provides donors with the satisfaction in knowing that their dollars go straight to word where they are needed most in our community.

Be a part of the solution by joining the United Way of San Benito County to create a brighter future for all of us!
