The San Benito Resource Conservation District has vacancies on its Board Of Directors for directors and associate directors.
The board is comprised of five volunteer directors and associate directors who oversee conservation programs that promote erosion control, water quality protection, invasive species removal, stream clean-up, flood control, watershed restoration, enhancement and other projects.
The mission of the San Benito Resource Conservation District is to help people protect, conserve, and restore natural resources through information, education, and technical assistance programs.
The District works in partnership with the US Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources Conservation Service, as well as other partners, to help landowners and managers voluntarily implement conservation practices on their properties.
