A local elections forum will take place in San Juan Bautista n oMonday, Oct. 6 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6359 Hall at 58 Monterey St. There will be an opportunity to meet the candidates for City Council and learn about the issues on the November 4 general election ballot.
Each candidate will be given time for an opening statement followed by moderator questions, audience questions and a closing statement. There will be tables in the back of the room for campaign information and marketing materials and refreshments will be available. The closing portion of the event is slated include Measure J, state tax proposals and propositions.
