A tip of the hat to everyone that made this year's reinstatement of the Hollister Elementary School Music Program possible, Yes, YOU did it, your dedication to your student musicians and willingness to communicate the need to keep music a vibrant part of our schools curriculum. Based on your efforts and dedication to fundraise to keep the programs alive, the Hollister School District has agreed to assume 50% of this years cost, 25% of the 2014/2015 academic year costs, and fully fund the program starting in the 2015/2016 academic year.
That being said, we are starting our fundraising efforts as we strive to meet our financial obligations to the district. Our second fundraiser for the year is a benefit concert with a professional Top 40 band, Big Wood.
Saturday, February 1st 2014, from 6:00pm to 10:30pm at the exclusive lounge at Paicines Ranch “Club 25”. General admission tickets are $75.00 and include an exquisite menu prepared by The Tres Pinos Inn. During dinner you will enjoy music by two local musicians, followed by Mr. O’s Jazz Band and ending the night with Big Wood.
As we organize this year’s fund-raising events, we are also seeking donations, financial and/or services from our Community Partners. With your help, we have limited the lapse in our program status to one year! Only in our community could this have been accomplished. With a viable Elementary School Music Program, young students can accomplish many extraordinary things once they get to the Middle School and High School programs.

The Rancho-Maze Band Boosters have joined forces with the San Benito High School Baler Band Boosters to save the elementary school music program. We have set up a website to manage the fundraising drive and/or donations can be mailed to the High School PO Box above. We are 501(c)(3) organizations, so your donations are tax deductible. Checks should be addressed to either Rancho-Maze Band Boosters or Baler Band Boosters.
