The San Benito County Office of Education is seeking judges for the 2018 Science Fair. The fair will take place on March 19-20, 2018 and is for students in all San Benito County schools. The Science Fair will be judged at 6:30 pm on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Veteran’s Memorial Building, 649 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA 95023.

“The San Benito County Office of Education is proud to host our annual countywide science fair each year to acknowledge our student for their hard work, creativity, and love for science,” said county superintendent Krystal Lomanto. “We thank our community for being a part of the science fair by either being a sponsor or judge. Having remarkable community support each year shows our students that our community cares about their educational success. Science fair projects are a great learning experience for our students.”

Last year more than 60 schoolchildren and their families attended the science fair. Together they showed off their hard work with projects such as comparing Aromas and Watsonville water, demonstrating electromagnets, and “Do fish get jetlagged?”
