San Benito High School Superintendent John Perales was presented the California FFA State Star Administrator Award at the 2016 FFA Leadership Conference in Fresno, April 22-25.
Perales, who was nominated by SBHS students, was one of six state finalists.
"He is the top administrator overseeing FFA programs in the state," said Mindi Krafft, an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor. "Along with this prestigious recognition Mr. Perales will receive a paid trip to the National FFA Leadership Convention in Indianapolis this October, courtesy of the California FFA Association. Our students were beyond thrilled of this accomplishment for Mr. Perales."
