Dr. Seuss fans, rejoice! The fictional lands of Whoville and the Jungle of Nool have come to downtown Hollister. San Benito Stage Company’s production of “Seussical Jr.” opens Friday, April 21 and runs through May 6 at the Granada Theatre, 336 Fifth St. in Hollister.

The wonderful stories and characters of Dr. Seuss have come together in this delightful musical, “Seussical Jr.” Narrated by the Cat in the Hat, audiences follow Horton the Elephant as he discovers the people of Whoville in a speck of dust. He must protect the Whos while trying to convince the Jungle of Nool that they exist. Horton faces ridicule and danger, while audiences will recognize well known Dr. Seuss characters along his journey.

Tickets are available at Postal Graphics on Airline Highway, online at www.brownpapertickets.com, and at the Granada box office door one hour before performances. Adults are $16 and seniors/students are $13. Group four-packs are $48 (advance sale only).

Performances are scheduled for April 21, 22, 28, 29, and May 5, and 6, all at 7 p.m. Sunday matinees will be held April 23 and 30 at 2 p.m.
