Heritage Bank of Commerce and KSBW-TV Channel 8 are teaming up for their Share Your Holiday celebration in Hollister this Friday, Dec. 9 from 2-8 p.m. The public is invited to come watch live performances by several local youth groups and donate gifts. KSBW reporter, Felix Cortez, will be interviewing guests and collecting Christmas gifts for families in need.
The second annual event will be held outside the Heritage Bank at 351 Tres Pinos Rd., near the YMCA and Kmart. Community members are encouraged to come watch the live broadcast and take part by bringing monetary or toy donations in the spirit of holiday giving. Drinks and treats will be offered inside Heritage Bank.
Heritage Bank of Commerce’s founding Chairman, Bill Del Biaggio, will be presenting $2,000 to the Salvation Army. For those who cannot attend, the activities will also be aired live on KSBW-TV Channel 8.
Diana Olveira, Heritage Bank’s director of marketing, told BenitoLink, “Share Your Holiday helps local families have a happier holiday with donations of new and unwrapped toys, clothing, blankets, food, bottled water, and monetary contributions.” Salvation Army will be there to accept donations and answer questions. After the event, Salvation Army will donate all of the toys, food and money collected to local residents. The eight Christmas trees used on set Friday night will also go to families in need.
