Silicon Valley Gives Back to San Benito County

Day of giving doubles every dollar donated to local charities

Welcome to Silicon Valley Gives Day 2015!

On Tuesday, May 5, our community comes together for Silicon Valley Gives, and we need YOU to join us. It’s your chance make a real difference, right here in San Benito County.

Following a successful day of giving last spring, the Silicon Valley Community Foundation will host its second day of giving to benefit nonprofit organizations in Santa Clara, San Mateo and San Benito counties. Silicon Valley Gives will raise money for local nonprofits starting at 12 a.m. and continuing for a 24-hour period through a single online donation platform, svgives.org.

SV Gives is an event aimed at inspiring and uniting our local community to support philanthropic causes, providing a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most and encourage them to take action. There is a $10 minimum donation for any cause, which provides an opportunity for donors of all different capacities to be involved.

As an added bonus, the Community Foundation for San Benito County is excited to offer a 1:1 match up to $50,000 from donations made through SV Gives to participating nonprofit endowment funds listed below. San Benito County nonprofits can double their SV Gives contributions by adding to their endowment funds held at the Community Foundation for San Benito County.
To donate, click on your favorite charity from the list below. From there, click on your favorite fund or nonprofit to be linked directly to their donation page on SV Gives.

Any individual may donate. Donations through Silicon Valley Gives to nonprofit organizations are tax-deductible. Contributions may be made via credit and debit card only.  Donations will be received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity. Razoo is the world's fastest-growing crowdfunding site for causes, and is committed to creating a more generous world.
