Shoppers can meet local craftsmen and women at B&R Farms‘ upcoming Blossom Boutique on April 13 and 14 at 5280 Fairview Road in Hollister.
A collection of small vendors and shops from the region is scheduled to help locals find spring holiday items. B&R contributes 10 percent of their savings to several local nonprofits after their boutiques.
B&R Farms has been in operation for four generations and over 85 years. Today, the farm markets its wide variety of apricot delicacies worldwide, yet still is a genuine family farm. The B&R shopping event offers community members an opportunity to purchase one-of–a-kind gifts all gathered under one roof.
After their winter event, B&R Farms presented a portion of their earnings to the Community Foundation for San Benito County for the benefit of several local nonprofits.
“We do it after each boutique as a way of doing something that helps the whole community,” owner Mari Rossi told BenitoLink.
Rossi said that after the spring Blossom Boutique, employees will once again help select nonprofits that will benefit from a company donation.
