Coffee lovers will have another drive-thru option in Hollister as of May 20 when Starbucks opens its new location at the former Union Bank building in the Nob Hill shopping center on Airline Highway.
The 2,000-square-foot facility, which replaces the smaller Starbucks across the parking lot, will utilize the old bank drive-up window as a way for patrons to order their drinks without leaving their vehicles. It is not the only drive-thru option in Hollister, of course, as Java Express continues to operate two locations in town.
The former bank building will once again house a bank eventually, as Rabobank plans to move into the adjacent, approximately 3,000 square feet of space.
The new Starbucks is scheduled to open at 4:30 a.m.
