The work of local, young artists was on display in downtown Hollister on Feb. 16 as the San Benito County Office of Education hosted the second annual education arts showcase titled “The World in Me.”
Open to students from Pre-K through high school, the event at the Veterans’ Memorial Building downtown showcased paintings, performances, sculpture, mixed media and literary arts.
County Superintendent of Schools Krystal Lomanto posted on Facebook that the event, which was photographed by BenitoLink photographer Lisa Robinson-Ward, “was a HUGE success tonight,” she said.
“Thank you to all our performers, students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members who supported this event. Thank you to the San Benito Arts Council for teaming with the SBCOE. The SBCOE is looking forward to growing this event next year!”
