The Superior Court of San Benito County is pleased to announce a special America 250 panel discussion on Wednesday, July 1, from 1:30–3:00p.m., held in conjunction with the Court’s inaugural Court Internship Program. This event supports the nationwide America 250 initiative, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and highlighting the enduring importance of democratic institutions.

The panel will feature representatives from the District Attorney’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, Probation Department and both current and retired judicial officers. Together, they will explore the role of the justice system in American democracy and within San Benito County.

This program offers students, community members, and aspiring legal professionals a unique opportunity to hear directly from those who serve within the justice system and to gain insight into its impact on the community. The event is open to the public, though seating is limited.
