Starting Monday, July 30, Caltrans will sweep along both direction of U.S. Highway 101 from the Monterey County line to the Santa Clara County line in the area of San Juan Bautsita for four days.

Monday, July 30:

  • Sweeping the northbound median

Tuesday, July 31:

  • Sweeping the southbound median

Wednesday, Aug. 1:

  • No sweeping

Thursday, Aug. 2:

  • Sweeping on the northbound shoulders and ramps

Friday, Aug. 3:

  • Sweeping on the southbound shoulders and ramps

Roadwork hours are expected from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, with delays of up to 15 minutes. Electronic message boards will be placed to inform motorists of roadwork. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will assist with traffic control. Roadwork is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 3 and is necessary for the safety of the traveling public.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
