Here are the links to take this important survey to identify needs in San Benito County

In English:
In Spanish:

The Community Action Board (CAB) of San Benito has been instrumental over the years with the receipt of State and Federal Funding benefitting our local non-profits and our low-income residents.

For over 20 years, staff and the Board were successful in securing State Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) of over $5,000,000 to support our local non-profits including the YMCA, Homeless Coalition, Emmaus House, San Benito County Food Bank, Friends of the Library and others. CDBG funds are instrumental to provide low-income residents with 1st Months Rental & Stop Eviction Assistance, Temporary Winter Shelter, Homeless Winter Shelter, food assistance, shelter for victims of domestic violence, transportation assistance, Vocational Training, Youth Employment, after-school services and more.

By providing these services we are able to assist clients during times of hardship by providing a hand up during difficult times.

Our goal is to have every community member complete the survey by January 1, 2014. Thank you in advance for your support and assistance in identifying the needs of our community. Please contact our staff at Community Services & Workforce Development (CSWD) if you have any questions at (831) 637-9293
