The first annual San Benito Olive Festival, on October 19, will feature olive and cooking demonstrations and have live music throughout the day.

Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 11 AM to 5 PM, is the date and time for the first annual San Benito Olive Festival. Come discover and celebrate our county’s rich agricultural bounty and beauty at the Paicines Ranch, 13388 Airline Highway, about 12 miles south of Hollister.

Tickets are available online at Eventbrite.com. They can be purchased locally in Hollister at San Benito Bene, 615 B San Benito Street, and Postal Graphics, 1760 F Airline Highway, and in San Juan Baultista at Visions of Christmas, 108 3rd St # B.  Tickets will also be available at the door. 1:30 to 2:15 — Matt Woolston, chef/owner of Matteo’s Pizza and Bistro and Supper Club in Sacramento area

2:30 to 3:15 — Dorothy McNett, Central Coast Foodie, Chef and Instructor of the Cooking Club in Pacific Grove

3:30 to 4:30 — Maurizio Cutrignelli, chef/owner of Maurizio`s Italian Restaurant in Morgan Hill
