The National Weather Service in The San Francisco Bay Area has issued a Tornado Warning for Northwestern San Benito County until 7 p.m. At 6:29 p.m. a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Prunedale moving east at 40 mph.
IMPACT
Expect damage to mobile homes, roofs, and vehicles. This dangerous storm will be near Hollister and Ridgemark around 6:35 p.m. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include San Juan Bautista and Aromas.

Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
