BenitoLink and the Community Foundation for San Benito County will host their first Town Hall: Report to the County on Oct. 10 at Paine’s Restaurant, located at 421 East Street in Hollister. We are hosting this event to encourage open, civil community dialogue with elected leaders. 

State Assemblyman Robert Rivas, Supervisor Peter Hernandez and Supervisor Jim Gillio will attend to update citizens on their past year in office. These recently-elected public officials will share what they have achieved and learned since being elected. BenitoLink and the Community Foundation support polite, civic conversation and welcome a public forum where a variety of perspectives can be shared.

 Guests will be given an opportunity to pose some questions to the elected officials. Rivas, Hernandez and Gillio will close the evening by stating their plans and goals for the coming year.

The event will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Appetizers and a no host bar will be available.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased online.
