United Way of San Benito County has set three-year goals and opened a request for proposals for its upcoming grant cycle. Local nonprofits have an opportunity to apply for the grants by 5 p.m. on May 10.

The Community Assessment Committee for the United Way has completed its assessment and set goals to be measured for the next grant cycle.  The new goals are described in the RFP that is open to nonprofits that meet the criteria. 

The United Way is looking for nonprofits that provide programs for our community in the areas of:

  • Youth succeeding in school and life
  • Family financial independence and stability
  • Good health for all San Benito County residents

Nonprofits must have 501 (c)3 status and provide programs in San Benito County. The RFP is available on the UWSBC website; www.unitedwaysbc.org.
