The San Benito Joint Union High School Class of 1971 will hold its 45th class reunion and scholarship barbecue weekend this summer on the first weekend of August.
The Reunion Dinner-Dance will take place on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, from 5 to 10 p.m., at the Ridgemark Golf and Country Club in Hollister. The evening will begin with no-host cocktails, followed by a buffet dinner. The Moondance Band, a popular local band, will perform.
The ticket price for the dinner-dance is $75 per person, due by June 30, 2016. On Sunday, Aug. 7, the Class of 1971 Scholarship will hold its annual Luncheon, Silent Auction and Raffle Fundraiser at the Pinnacle Hills Golf Course Clubhouse in Tres Pinos. The fundraiser will feature gift baskets, wines, jewelry, a week at a Kauai condo, artisanal products and many other items. It will run from noon to 4 p.m. Local chef Mike Fisher will cater the luncheon.
