UPDATE: Highway 25 work for March 7 and March 8 is complete

UPDATE- WORK IS COMPLETE 

Highway 25 is now open near the San Benito and Santa Clara County line.  Union Pacific completes railroad repairs ahead of schedule. 

Union Pacific Railroad has completed its railroad repairs ahead of schedule resulting in the re-opening Mrch 7 of a two-mile section of both northbound and southbound Highway 25 near the San Benito/Santa Clara County line.

These repairs began Wednesday morning, March 7 and were scheduled to be completed In Thursday afternoon, March 8.  Caltrans wishes to thank the public for their patience during this project.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over slow down when driving through highway work zones.
