VFW easter egg hunt at Vet’s Park

Annual event allows children from 2 to 10 the chance to collect eggs a day ahead of Easter

The annual Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9242 and The Ladies Auxiliary held their annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 at at Veterans' Memorial Park, as shown here in photos by Lisa Robinson. Children were allowed to hunt for eggs in the park in three age groups: 2- to 4-year-olds, 5- to 7-year-olds and 8- to 10-year-olds at the free event.

Certain, special eggs in the hunting area could be redeemed for prizes and all children who were not able to find eggs on their own still came away with some, with a little help from volunteers. The American Legion Post 69 provided special prize baskets.
