Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9242 invites the community to participate in its 2026 Golf Tournament, taking place on Monday, June 22, 2026, at San Juan Oaks Golf Club in Hollister.
This annual event brings together community members, local businesses, and supporters to enjoy a day of golf while raising funds to support veterans and local programs.
Participants will begin the day with check-in at 9:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. The event concludes with dinner at 5:00 p.m. Registration is $175 per person or $700 per four-person team, which includes range balls, golf cart, and dinner.
The tournament will feature a variety of activities and contests, including:
● Closest to the pin
● Longest drive
● Hole-in-one opportunities
● 50/50 putting contest
● Raffle and auction
Attendees are also encouraged to show their spirit, as a prize will be awarded for the Best Dressed Team with a patriotic theme.
For those who do not golf, a dinner-only option is available for $50, offering an opportunity to support the cause and enjoy the evening festivities.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for local businesses and individuals, including:
● Tee sponsorships
● “In Honor Of” signs ($100)
● Company signs ($150)
● HERO-level company sponsorships, which include a four-person team and additional
promotional benefits
All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting VFW Post 9242 programs and services benefiting veterans and the local community.
