The 9th annual Wag N' Walk fundraiser on June 10 was held under sunny skies at Graniterock's Southside Sand & Gravel Plant on Airline Highway south of Ridgemark Golf and Country Club. The event raised money for The Pet Friends pet adoption center and shelter in Hollister.

Participants brought their four-legged friends to participate in the 5K on leash, walking or running as an individual or a team of up to four family, friends and/or co-workers. The event is designed to raise awareness about pet adoption and animal rescue.

Participants ran or walked through Graniterock's operational sand and gravel quarry on a course that followed quarry roads. Walkers were provided with a short course.

After the run/walk, Graniterock held an open house event at the quarry.
