Wine tasting at Bolado Park Oct.5

The local wine scene is changing in San Benito. Some of the new companies in the area will be showing off some of their wines.

The public is invited to taste some of the county's wines at an evening social held at the San Benito County Fair.

The wine tasting is Friday Oct, 5 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Pavilion at the Bolado Park Fairgrounds, just east of Tres Pinos.

Along with wines from a few local wineries, guests will have a chance to taste some of the most popular wines in the state from companies who have recently expanded their wine grape production into the county.

$15 will buy a commemorative glass and six tastings.  More information is available on the San Benito County Fair Facebook page.
