Arts Council invites families and community members to celebrate Dia de los Muertos on Oct. 29

The San Benito County Arts Council invites local youth and residents to celebrate Dia de los Muertos with arts, crafts and community altar building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at ARTspace, 240 Fifth St. in downtown Hollister.

Community members may bring flowers, photos and mementos of passed loved ones to contribute to the altar/ofrenda, which will be on display at ARTspace through Nov. 4.  Children can enjoy free art projects and face painting, as well as snacks and drinks. This event is free and open to the public.
