The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce held its monthly evening event, “Business After Hours,”  on Wednesday, April 13, at Postal Graphics in Hollister and the event was well-attended.Â
Business owner, Ron Martin, took a moment to introduce all his employees and thank them for their work. Postal Graphics provides shipping and mailing services as well as printing and creation of display products.Â
“We try to do just about everything,” Martin said to the crowd. The Postal Graphics website states, “We can pack and ship [almost] anything to [almost] anywhere in the world, but shipping is only one way we can help to make your life easier. In addition to our pack and ship service, we are also Hollister’s premier copy, print and document services center.
Juli Vieira, executive director of the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce explained the idea behind the simple but fun social event. “Business After Hours is an opportunity for Chamber businesses to network and catch up on what is going on with their businesses, community activities and possible volunteer opportunities. Businesses can also showcase their products by bringing a raffle prize. Beginning in June each BAH host will partner with a Chamber non-profit, ” Vieira explained.Â
The social event is a great opportunity for new business owners to meet people and get their name out.”We also invite potential members to join us as guests so they can see what the Chamber is all about and get to know the ambassadors and other business owners.,” Vieira said.Â
