The San Benito High School Board of Trustees has the daunting task of managing a large high school with almost 3,000 students. Our community will elect two new board members who will make decisions that will have a profound impact on the future of our students.
Their challenge is to collaborate with current members as well as the administration and faculty. The newly elected board members should understand the complexities of the job and their responsibility to help formulate and carry out policy. I believe John Corrigan and Patty Nehme possess the professional background to work with all stakeholders, which will help them make decisions to guide the district in a positive direction.
There is much to do! San Benito High School has great potential to be an outstanding school in meeting the educational needs of a diverse student population. That is why I support the candidacy of John Corrigan and Patty Nehme to represent our Hollister community as education board members.
