Congratulations, you did it! Your donations have surpassed our Pledge of Champions $38,000 goal.

Thanks to you, BenitoLink reached its full match goal of $38,000! Donations of all sizes have come in, making it the most successful Pledge of Champions campaign yet.

BenitoLink donations from community members have surpassed the goal of $38,000 with a total of $41,695. This was fully matched by NewsMatch and the Community Foundation for San Benito County bringing our total to nearly $80,000! This is the largest amount gathered during the Pledge of Champions ever. In 2016, community donations for BenitoLink were just under $30,000 bringing in about $60,000. We are so appreciative of this amazing community interest in high quality journalism and more in-depth reporting.

The year is not yet over and we are pleased to tell you that donations are still coming in. Any additional donations that come in by midnight Dec. 31 will be matched thanks to a local individual donor up to a total of $15,000. Anyone who donates online or writes a check to BenitoLink (at 829 San Benito St. Suite 200, Hollister, CA 95023), will be matched dollar for dollar up to the $15,000 limit.

Community support for San Benito County's nonprofit online news has reached a new high thanks to BenitoLink supporters like you, giving your local news an outstanding start for 2018!  Thank you, donors!
