Transition Aromas invites all members of the community to join in planning the 2014 Harvest Fair. This year, in addition to the local foods and food processing that the 2013 Harvest Fair showcased, we would like to expand our focus on sustainability. We envision booths and hands-on activities related to food, water, energy, emergency preparedness, and transportation. You don't need to be an expert in any of these areas, although it would be great if you are! We need people interested in planning, creating booths, making signs, translating, publicizing, and everything else needed to plan an event of this type.
If you enjoyed last year's Harvest Fair, and would like to get involved in organizing this year's, please join us for the first planning session at 7PM on Thursday, April 10 at 60 Carr Avenue in Aromas.
