The City of San Juan Bautista is sharing information about the upcoming Rotary Rainbow Run, scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026. This notice is being provided so residents, businesses, and visitors can plan ahead for temporary traffic control, road closures, and related activity along the race route.

Temporary traffic control, barricades, and possible short-term delays are planned for the race route, including:

  • Church Street and Monterey Street
  • First Street at the roundabout
  • Monterey Street and Third Street
  • Tahualami Street and Fourth Street
  • San Jose Street and Fourth Street
  • Muckelemi Street and Fourth Street
  • Polk Street and Fourth Street
  • Mariposa Street and Fourth Street
  • Washington Street and Fourth Street
  • Franklin Street and Fourth Street
  • Pearce Street and Fourth Street.

Traffic and parking in the immediate area may be affected during event operations and related setup and breakdown activity.

The event is expected to include a 1K run beginning at 8:00 a.m. and a 5K run beginning at 8:30 a.m. Awards and related activities are expected to take place near the San Juan Soccer Field from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Temporary traffic control is anticipated from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Please allow extra travel time, follow posted signage and barricades, and use caution near the event area. Visitors already downtown may wish to walk when possible.
