San Benito GIVES is about investing in our own communities. Today, Tuesday, May 16, San Benito County residents can give a $10 donation to any of two dozen nonprofits that serve our county. BenitoLink is one of the nonprofits enrolled in San Benito GIVES. The campaign goes for 24 hours, from 12:01 a.m. Tuesday until 12 a.m. Wednesday. The effort is a great way to provide some positive feedback to your favorite local nonprofits through financial support and improve the quality of life in the county.

San Benito GIVES is an online fundraising platform established through Razoo. On the San Benito GIVES team page, you can learn about and select from the 24 nonprofits involved. Members will receive funds separately, through their own individual pages online.
BenitoLink plans to use donations to increase and deepen news coverage and help young adults develop employable work skills. Over the last year, BenitoLink has been successful in providing jobs and work experience to aspiring journalists.
Today’s San Benito GIVES event helps us keep our dollars in the county and donate to nonprofits that make it an even better place to live. The fundraiser boosts the level of awareness of the many nonprofits in our county and gets new people involved in improving our quality of life.
Whether we work here, own a business here, live here, or raise a family here, San Benito County is our home. BenitoLink, San Benito County’s nonprofit online news source and Mission Village Voice, a monthly paper published in San Juan Bautista, are partnering on San Benito GIVES with the Community Foundation for San Benito County. We share a common interest in seeing residents achieve the highest quality of life possible for families and children in the community.
We hope that you will join us today by supporting, sharing, and connecting with nonprofits in San Benito County. To learn more about San Benito GIVES, click here: San Benito GIVES. Readers can also reach BenitoLink’s own SB Gives page directly by clicking here: BenitoLink.
